Status by state

The desk treats the following states as material for the 2026-27 circuit. The status is a desk read at publication date; readers should confirm against the regulator's own page.

Tamil Nadu — restricted

The TN Gaming Act remains restrictive for online real-money rummy. The desk treats TN as restricted at the time of writing.

Andhra Pradesh — restricted, under challenge

The AP Gaming Act, 1974, treats most card games as gambling. State high court challenges have not reached final disposition.

Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Assam, Sikkim, Nagaland — operator-policy variants

Each carries localised restrictions. The desk publishes per-operator acceptance in its reviews ledger.

How the desk tracks the circuit

The desk reads each state regulator's website once per quarter and re-reads the relevant T&Cs page for each operator the desk reviews at the same cadence. The desk does not file legal opinions on any operator's standing under a state act.

State-by-state operator listing

The per-operator per-state listing is a piece of the reviews ledger. The desk does not maintain a separate table here.
