Payment methods — UPI, net-banking, cards.

Regulated Indian rummy platforms support a small set of payment methods. UPI is the default for deposits under ₹10,000; net-banking and cards carry a separate processing window. Each method has a documented processing time on the operator's T&Cs page.

The three primary methods

The desk treats the following three methods as the standard set:

UPI

Default for deposits under ₹10,000. Median processing time under three minutes. Refunds (deposit reversals) take a longer window of 24-72 hours depending on the issuing bank.

Net-banking

Default for deposits above ₹10,000. Median processing time under ten minutes. The desk recommends net-banking for any deposit that triggers the source-of-funds check threshold.

Cards (debit / credit)

Default only where UPI is unavailable. Median processing time under five minutes for debit; cards carry interchange considerations on the operator side that the desk reads in its reviews.

Bank-account funding and the wallet ledger

All three methods credit the operator's wallet ledger, not the operator's own deposit balance directly. The wallet ledger is the working balance; the deposit balance is the subset available to play.

Editor's note

The desk treats the operator's choice to disclose both ledger balances as a transparency positive. Operators that display only the play balance and not the wallet ledger are flagged in reviews.

Refund paths

Three legitimate refund paths exist at a regulated operator:

  • A failed deposit where the funds have been debited from the bank but not credited to the operator wallet — automatic refund under 72 hours.
  • A successful deposit where the reader disputes the transaction within seven days — operator-mediated refund.
  • A bonus credit that was triggered in error — operator-mediated refund on request.
